You will encounter some Spider Queens as you go down the stairwell. You then follow the markers down to the bottom floor. When you are directed back to the center you will find dozens of Risen Eagles that are low level and easily dispatched.ĭefeating all of the foes in the temple is not required consider avoiding the Risen Abomination and Risen Knights that patrol around the perimeter. There are a Veteran Risen Knights and Abominations patrolling the outer ring counter-clockwise (hearkening back to some of the most frustrating zones of Guild Wars 1) which should be either avoided or ambushed such that you don't end up engaging the patrolling veteran at the same time as the static platform groups. Instead, you can ignore all of the ghosts and run ahead of them to each platform as they show up on the map. Doing so will waste an enormous amount of time. Although it appears to be an escort quest where you have to follow the ghosts of the Priestesses of Lyssa to each platform, this is _not_ the case. In the temple you lead Trahearne around clearing out the four temple platforms and waiting for him to complete his ritual in that area. On the initial visit to the temple's center platform, focus fire on the Incomplete Abomination first, since its incomplete form takes increased damage and can be dispatched faster than the tougher Risen Abomination (but see note below). Keep your eye on them and make sure you revive any that die. These soldiers are aggressive and will wander off short distances to engage foes. You first following the objective markers gathering a small team of about seven Pact soldiers.
